With the help of Linda Modrell, then a Benton County Commissioner, and David Livingston, the defunct Midway Drive-in Theater sign was installed in 1998 on a building at the corner of First and Madison Avenues. Once the sign was in place, David Livingston continued to maintain the sign and agreed to display poems selected by The Arts Center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2026 Selected Poets<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Congratulations to the 2026 winners selected by <a href=\"https:\/\/oregonpoets.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Oregon Poetry Association<\/a> President, David Goodrum. Take a moment to walk inside and order some <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sugarjsicecreamworkshop.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Sugar J\u2019s Ice Cream<\/a> as well!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Call for Poets Guidelines<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Each author may submit only one application per call (2 poems)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Poems must be 7 lines or less.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Each line can have no more than 50 characters.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Two poems will be selected.
